SUZUKI’S SEAMLESS GEARBOX AND LEG DANGLE EXPLAINED

Team Suzuki Press Office – May 21.

Team Suzuki Ecstar MotoGP test rider Sylvain Guintoli explains the workings of his GSX-RR Suzuki MotoGP machine, plus looks back on where the modern-day ‘leg-dangle’ came from in two news videos online.

With lockdown from the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic starting to slowly ease in some countries and regions, Guintoli continues to put together informative videos for his Suzuki fans and other brand fans worldwide to keep busy until MotoGP and other motorcycle sport gets the green light.

Said Guintoli: “Seamless gearboxes are used only in MotoGP, but in this episode I explain how they feel and describe what advantages they offer, as well as why they are reserved to MotoGP bikes and riders.

“In the other video I explain what the Leg Dangle is all about. Why we do it and what are the benefits and drawbacks. This is the truth about the Leg Dangle.”
