Team Suzuki Press Office – March 29

The fifth weekend of March sees Team SUZUKI ECSTAR riders Alex Rins and Joan Mir on track for the second round of the 2019 MotoGP™ Championship in Argentina after a positive showing at Round 1 in Qatar earlier this month.

In today’s FP2 session at the Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit, Rins posted seventh with Mir 15th aboard their GSX-RR machinery. Full report and photos to follow on and on Team Suzuki Racing Social Media.

In America, the JGRMX/ Yoshimura/ Suzuki Factory Racing Team is in action for the 13th round of 17 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas for the Monster Energy AMA/ FIM World Supercross Championship, that also includes the 250 West series on the schedule.

March 30: Round 13. AMA/ FIM World Supercross Championship. NRG Stadium, Houston. Texas. USA. With RM-Z450 rider Chad Reed injured last weekend, Justin Hill will front the main class, but in the 250 West series, team-mates Jimmy Decotis and Enzo Lopes will be aiming for more podiums aboard their RM-Z250 machines.

March 31: Round 2. MotoGP™. Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit. Argentina. Both Rins and Mir made a solid start to the weekend today and are ready for FP3 tomorrow and the qualifying sessions that will determine the grid for Sunday.
