WEEKEND ACTION


Team Suzuki Press Office – May 16.

The third weekend of May sees Team SUZUKI ECSTAR in action for the fifth round of the 2019 MotoGP™ Championship at Le Mans in France, with Alex Rins holding second in the series, just one point away from the championship lead following his maiden MotoGP race victory in America and his second position at his home GP in Jerez, Spain last time out.

This weekend also sees the opening round of the Lucas Oil AMA Motocross Championship, with the JGRMX Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Team racing at the Hangtown Motocross Classic in America.

May 19th: Round 5. MotoGP™. Le Mans. France. Alex Rins and Joan Mir begin qualifying on Friday (May 17) aboard the GSX-RR factory machinery. Rins is currently 2nd in the standings with Mir 16th in his rookie season.

May 18-19th: Round 1. AMA Motocross Championship. Hangtown Classic. Rancho Cordova, California. USA. Suzuki RM-Z450 rider Justin Hill lines-up alongside RM-Z250 riders Alex Martin and Kyle Peters for the opening round of 12 in the 2019 series.
